Doesn't matter how much times I watch it or even that I know it's coming... the ending of the episode "Aftershock" always has me in tears. Poor Lennie. Poor Ray. Poor Jack. Poor, poor Claire.

Anyone else in my same boat?

*raises hand* I just watched that ep a few weeks ago, too, when it reaired on TNT. That ending always gets me. :(

Definitely one of the most depressing endings. But then, the whole season was one of the darkest in the whole series (though, Season 19 is pretty depressing).

I can't say it saddens me, though, I felt for Lennie and Claire. Unfortunately, what the writers did to Claire (turned her into leftist mouthpiece/Author Avatar, then become a death penalty martyr) makes me angry.

It's still one of the best episodes, but man, did that ending (maybe the whole episode) produced so much wank, that we still feel it to this day.

If nothing else, at least it helped Jack clean up his act. Thank God. Sighs. Too bad she had to die for it to happen.

On the plus side, Dick Wolf has since remorse for killing her. So, there's that.
